Who writes this

I’m Sébastien, founder of Artdantech, an independent web studio that designs and builds custom websites for freelancers, consultants, founders, and growing SMBs. Based in France, available internationally.

I started The Artdantech Letter because most people who hire a web studio have no way to tell whether what they’re buying is serious work or polished mediocrity. Agency portfolios are unverifiable. SEO promises are uncheckable. Proposals are opaque. Nobody explains the decisions behind the deliverables.

This letter exists to close that gap.

What you'll find here

One essay a month on what separates a website that sells from one that decorates. Technical decisions documented, trade-offs owned, mistakes dissected, positions defended. Fifteen minutes of dense reading, written for founders, operators, and technical decision-makers who want to understand what they’re paying for when they hire a web studio.

No shallow tips. No listicles. No fluff. No sponsored content. Every essay is written because it deserves to exist, not because an editorial calendar demanded it.

What The Letter is not

It’s not a tech news roundup. It’s not a marketing newsletter. It’s not a prospecting channel in disguise. You will never receive a sales sequence, a post-unsubscribe guilt trip, or a “we miss you” re-engagement email.

If an essay makes you reach out about your project, great. If an essay makes you rethink your current vendor, also great. If you read for a year without ever contacting me, that’s perfectly fine and exactly what this letter is designed for.

Concrete commitments

One essay a month, never more. One-click unsubscribe, no questions asked. Your email address is never sold, shared, or monetized. No tracking beyond anonymized open rates.

See the work

If you want to see how we actually build, the case studies are on artdantech.com. If you have a project in mind and want to know whether we're the right studio, the 30-minute working session is free and zero-commitment. If we're not the right fit, we'll tell you in the call. Straight answers only.
